Are all front doors the same size?

Entry doors come in several different sizes and can also be custom built to suit your particular project. When we come to give you a quote we take precise measurements and only quote the door that best suits your situation.

Is an entry door different from a back door?

A back door is classified as an entry door. In fact any door that allows entry or exit to/from your home or garage is classified as an entry door.

Energy Star Logo

We are “Going Green“ with many of the products we use in our home. What can we do with our doors and windows to help with this?

As the cost of energy continues to rise, people are looking for ways to be conscious of the environment and at the same time reduce their power bill. Turning off the lights, using Energy Star appliances, and wearing an extra sweater instead of turning up the heat are all great ways to save energy, installing windows and doors that are energy efficient is great way to help out the environment and reduce your power bill. You can request replacement doors and windows with the Energy Star Compliant logo. For a product to be allowed to display this logo it must first meet strict government standards. You can rest assured that when Fandrich Installations does the work, you are receiving the proper “Earth friendly“ product.

I know my windows are pretty old but they still close, why should I bother to change them?

Think of your house as a system
A house is much more than just four walls and a roof, it is an interactive system made up of many components including the basic structure, heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment, the external environment and the occupants. Each component influences the performance of the entire system. A renovation provides an opportunity to improve how your house performs.
Tighter and more energy efficient windows and doors will reduce the heating load on your house, reduce heating costs and improve occupant comfort. Increased house airtightness can improve energy efficiency.
